There are 196 countries in the world today. Some of them are developed countries while others are developing countries. Countries like US, Canada, France are developed ones while India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal are developing ones.

The developed countries have comparatively greater GDP, per capita income than the developing ones that makes the economies stronger. Here is a list of the top 10 richest countries of the world in 2018. The list has been made on the basis of GDP per capita in U.S. Dollar.

This is wonderful didn’t know Qatar was this rich,i knew that after seeing their flights during a visit at work and when I went online I was amazed and that made me realised America is not as rich as they claim to be in the media and that Arab countries are the richest instead.God really blessed them and what’s so nice is they kept his principles of living till today that’s why they are so powerful and they will be coz they are God’s good managers since history so they must rule the future.

  7. I think the qatar is fast moving and richest country by construction and it has oppertunities more then other countries as well as resource of oil level.

  9. Many of them are small countries with less population. Productive human resource and good natural resources and management can automatically increase a nation’s wealth. Qatar is a great example. It has a vast area for oil and natural gas mining. Thus, people work for that, they export it and earn a huge revenue.

  10. Most of these are small nations and with less population. But in countries like India population is so huge, with people very poor, unemployed and diversity in various other aspects doesn’t allow for a rapid growth like these countries.
    However now, India is finding some great development in all the fields. So, we can hope that India will be on the list soon.

  11. Many countries that depend on oil and gas export for revenue are in the list. But once all the resources get over, these countries will have tough time.

    • There need to be a great research or outcome of a new possibility of an efficient energy source. It is a great matter of concern for these countries whose economies depend on oil resources and to that of nature and mankind. We need to minimize or stop using the oil reserves or natural gas reserves and better find a different source that is renewable.

  12. Qatar has amazing stats for GDP, and that shows its richness. Mainly depends on Oil, and the country has developed to great Heights. They are organizing Fifa world Cup and Olympics too. It’s wonderful that they have grown to a supreme power in less time.
